Jose Asunción Violinista eléctrico

Jose Asunción graduated from Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Valencia (Superior Conservatory of Music in Valencia), his native city, where he trained for fourteen years.

He went from classical violin to electric violin, which showcases his true identity and is his preferred instrument.

He moved to Madrid where he studied interpretation and worked as an actor in theater plays and tv series.

As an electric violinist, he was, for many years, a resident artist in Teatro Kapital and Gran Vía Casino in Madrid. He was also in the best nightclubs in Spain, which led him to tour the country with the “Ron Brugal” brand.

During one year, he collabed with Radiotubers, one of the programs with the highest audience of “Los 40 Principales” (The Main 40s).

In the summer of 2019, Jose Asunción took the stage at Plaza de Toros in Valencia to participate in Latin Fest, one of the current most important international urban music shows. He shared a billboard and music with Bad Bunny, the DJs Afro Bros, Chris Jeday and Lunay, among others.

Ibiza has also marked the beginning of his career as an artist and now continues to be a reference.

He has performed in the best beach clubs and nightclubs on the island, such as Ushuaïa, Hard Rock Hotel, Lío Ibiza, Nikki Beach, Tatel, Destino Pacha and Beso Beach, to name a few, and continues his residency every summer in many of them.

He has also performed in hundreds of events and weddings, both on the Ibiza island and in other regions of Spain and abroad.

Throughout music streaming platforms, Jose Asunción has amassed more than 70 million views, furthermore, international artists such as Maluma, Daddy Yankee, Alejandro Sanz, Thalía and David Bisbal have shared his covers.

In addition, he has been the cover image of many advertising brands and has shared live performances with other artists such as Afro Bros and Nía Correia.

SOCIAL RESPONSABILITY

Jose Asunción feels committed to social issues and every time the opportunity to help the less fortunate presents itself he doesn’t hesitate to offer his selfless help. He has performed with his electric violin for the children living at Ronald McDonald’s House in Valencia, a children’s charity foundation that since 1997 has worked in Spain towards the goal of creating a “home away from home”.

Similarly, he has collaborated with the non-profit organization “Música en Vena” and the Severo Ochoa de Leganés Hospital in Madrid, bringing music with his electric violin to admitted patients.

In addition, he has participated in the “30 Años Contigo” Charity Gala that the Severo Ochoa Hospital’s staff held in October and November of 2018 for the benefit of Mensajeros de Paz, an organization created by Father Ángel, which works on various international humanitarian aid projects.

YOUTUBE’S MOST POPULAR ELECTRIC VIOLINIST’S TOP COVERS

One day, Jose Asunción decided to make covers of current trending songs and upload them to the Internet with the sole, brave, yet complicated and highly committed, purpose of bringing the sound of the electric violin to everyone’s ears. From the classic, demanding music enthusiasts to the less experienced, or even to those used to more modern, melodic and synthetic rhythms.

This wise decision has made him viral in Spain and Latin America and has led him to conquer various countries around the world.
